Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve.

Mindful Music Moments brings a daily ritual of mindfulness and world-class music into the school day for nearly 70 PreK-12 schools in Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky. Thanks to support from our partners Summermusik, NKCES, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Dr. John & Susan Tew, Interact For Health, and ArtsWave, we are able to offer Mindful Music for FREE to all PreK-12 schools and organizations in our home-region.

Academy of World Languages using 'Mindful Music' classes to aid third graders' learning. | Cincinnati, WCPO Channel 9, 1.20.2016
Incorporating [Mindful Music Moments] into our routine gave us the opportunity to MAKE TIME to be mindful. We learned how to be mindful through the music and breathing techniques. I saw children feel the music in their own ways - some would close eyes, some would focus out the window, while others would move their bodies calmly to the music in their chairs.

In 2014-2015, 46% of our 5th graders said they needed help handling stress, in 2017 only 17% of our 5th graders said they needed help with stress. I know that Mindful Music has a direct impact on that number. This is one data point, but we have been intentional about focusing on teaching healthy coping strategies and MMM has become our level ALL kids get each day.
Jean Bode, School Counselor, Wilson Elementary
It is like a signal that informs my entire class that school is beginning. They know that once we all have listened to MMM, we will begin lesson. This calms everyone down from talking after they first come into the classroom, etc.
