The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve.

Mindful Music From Scratch
2025 - A new musical creation inspired by nine Ohio & Kentucky schools.

The Wellness Garden
2024 - Wellspring Fellow Julia O. Bianco led an urban rewilding and creative placemaking project in Camp Washington in collaboration with Campsite Art Park and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful.
Teen Summer Intensive: Sona and Soma
2024 - A collaboration between The Well's True Body Project, ArtWorks, and FotoFocus for 12 teens to create lens-based work about the complexity of living in a body.
Wonder Commission
2024 - New music for Mindful Music Moments by Dr. Brian Raphael Nabors, inspired by Alan Lightman and their conversation on time, cosmos, nature, and meaning. In collaboration with Antigone Music Collective, UpSpring, and Asa Featherstone IV.
Sound Intersections
2023 - New music for Mindful Music Moments by Nate May, with storytellers Omope Carter Daboiku and Talon Silverhorn. Exploring and uplifting the history and the intersection of Appalachian, African American, and Native American musical traditions within the Ohio River Valley region
Greetings from Planet Love
2023 - A collaboration between The Well's True Body Project and ArtWorks for 12 teens to create a book of artwork, a public mural, and pocket park in Camp Washington about a forgotten planet: Planet Love.
The Hope Commission
2023 - New music commission for Mindful Music Moments by Sonia Ivette Morales-Matos in collaboration with Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra and Refugee Connect to celebrate the arrival of Little Amal–a 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl–to the United States.
Neighborhood Songlines
2022-23 - New music for Mindful Music Moments by Jenn Howd inspired by the favorite sounds of local households and businesses in Pleasant Ridge and Camp Washington. In collaboration with Community Happens Here.
Creative Connections
2022 - A collaboration with Musicians for Health, Sonya Verma, and the Giving Voice Collaborative to bring Mindfulness, Music and Sound Healing to individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
Field Recordings
2021 - New music for Mindful Music Moments by four Ohio-based artists and students in schools. The artists created six short pieces, with accompanying videos, that feature Field Recordings (audio from sounds of real spaces and places) and music to evoke a sense of place and to re-contextualize sound as an aural symphony.
Mindful Sound Healing
2021 - Wellspring Fellow Sarah Yeung's series of Mindful Sound Healing Moments for students, teachers, families, and anyone looking for a moment of peace in their day.
Home: All-Ohio Commission
2021 - New music by Dr. Brian Raphael Nabors in an inaugural collaboration between the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony, and The Cleveland Orchestra. Four movements for string quartet celebrating each city's unique identity and our shared idea of "Home."
Camp cARTwheel
2020 - A collaboration with ArtWorks, Wave Pool, and several Cincinnati arts organizations to offer a virtual arts and culture summer camp and fall programming. Presented by ArtsWave.
Hospitals & Businesses
AWL Calm Corner
2018 - A collaboration with Academy of World Languages, ArtWorks, MindPeace, Lightborne, and Cincinnati Art Museum to create a waiting room space for calm and creative exploration at the Schiff Wellness Center.

2017 - New music for Mindful Music Moments by Peter Adams in collaboration with youth at UpSpring and BLINK Cincinnati.
