Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve. How do we create our programs? In partnership with others and especially those we serve.

Personal Growth
Prolonged stress and personal, collective, or transgenerational trauma have a profound affect on the function of our body's neurological system which in turn can affect our actions, emotions, and our mental and physical health. We can however, learn new ways to rebuild our resilience and improve our sense of well-being, connectedness and effectiveness in the world.
True Body Project is an experiential program centered on addressing chronic stress and trauma through the use of mindful, somatic, and expressive and healing arts practices that empower participants to find comfort and freedom in their bodies as they move through the human experience.
In the True Body Project, we organize and play around themes such as grounding, centering, and orienting and explore those themes through activities including movement, writing, art-making, poetry reading, and deep listening.
True Body Project is for everyone. This award-winning, trauma-informed, social-emotional learning, mind-body work has been designed to be effective across cultures and has been experienced by individuals and groups from around the world. It has been successfully implemented across cultural, language, and literacy barriers for humans ages five and up.
