Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve.
In partnership with the Sunriver Music Festival, Mindful Music Moments brings a daily ritual of mindfulness and world-class music into the school day for PreK-12 schools in Central Oregon.

Mindful Music Moments helping La Pine students become calm, focused to start school day
Central Oregon Daily News. 4.18.24
"Mindful Music is calming, especially when I hear a piano playing. It feels like I am at the beach with waves rolling in and I am watching the sunset. Mindful Music sets the TONE for my day!"
Andrew P., 4th Grade student at Kelly Elementary
The best thing about Mindful Music is sharing music with my class. Music that they may have never had the chance to hear before.
PreK Teacher, Ashtabula Headstart, May 2023
I have used it as a daily transition for students when we return from lunch recess...I have a couple students who were very thankful for this daily routine....Staff and students start their days in a calm state, no matter what happened at home before they left or what happened on the bus. They get the opportunity to breathe and reset their day.
Kassia Marcoulier, 1st grade teacher, Ensworth Elementary
Classical music helps students start the day calmly by reducing stress and creating a peaceful classroom environment. Its soothing, lyric-free nature promotes focus and prepares students mentally for learning. Over time, it builds a consistent and calming routine that supports emotional regulation and positive behavior.
Amy Ray, Rosland Elementary School
