Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve.
For anyone who missed yesterday's Virtual Gathering, we listened and contemplated the poem "Among the Multitudes" by Wislawa Szymborska. The Well's founder and executive director Stacy Sims opened our session with a short meditation and poet and Mindful Poetry Moments 2025 curator Manuel Iris facilitated our exploration of the poem.
PROMPTS:
What are the different “multitudes” in your life, the groups that you’re a part of that call you their own? That group can be as small as your house, to as big as the whole world.

How fortunate.
To be a woman - connected to Nature so deeply
As Nature is like me - cyclical
Just like the Moon
We change
We shine
We grow
We grow darker
I connect to Nature when I look up at the sky
And when I step foot on the grass. I feel grounded - our roots are connecting.
Intertwined.
I ground myself down
As I soar myself up
I feel whole when I remember Nature and I are ONE.
