Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve. How do we create our programs? In partnership with others and especially those we serve.

A portal to new ideas and new poetry.
Thank you to all who attended our Mindful Poetry Gathering! We listened and contemplated the poem "Refrigerator, 1957" by Thomas Lux. Special guest Krittika Sharma opened our session with a meditation with a short excerpt from a death meditation (drawn from her experience in end-of-life healthcare), and Poet, curator, behavior researcher, all round vulnerability-loving human, Shivani Gupta facilitated our exploration of the poem.

I Am My Family's Historian
by Bryce Kessler
I am my family's historian,
and everything goes into The Binder.
Birth, marriage, death, proof
mortgages, wills, immigration
emigration, pay stubs, utility bills,
grave plots, receipts for the family piano
and any photos I can dig up like
an archeologist finding a prehistoric bone.
Turning paper scraps into museum galleries.
Finding historical patterns and
rediscovering connections to our shared histories
All for most people to ask
"Why are you doing this?"
I shrug, not quite sure,
But some connection to the history of the world
feels so scarce, rare, and precious.
Because if I'm not remembering, then who will?
We'd Love to Hear from You
Many of our programs and practices started because someone reached out and expressed a need. What can we do to support you?
