Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve. How do we create our programs? In partnership with others and especially those we serve.

As we approach the end of the year, holidays and end-of-year business keeps us stimulated and possibly stressed. Yet, wintertime is an opportunity to slow down, go inward and rediscover the bliss you hold within yourself. I am reminded each year at Winter solstice how needed the times of darkness are to feel deep gratitude for the light and warmth.
Winter is the inhalation before the exhalation that births spring.
So we encourage you this winter to tap into the stillness, and answer the call for reflection with meditation. Below we have gathered up a few organizations doing wonderful meditation work across the country—but by no means all of them! Just a quick Google search may help you find a meditation group in your neighborhood. And if there is not, start your own City Silence.
Need help getting started? The Well founder, Stacy Sims, shares info and tips on how to start your meditation practice.
