City Silence Founder Stacy Sims has been working with veterans from the Joseph House in Cincinnati this year on mindfulness and other trauma release somatic exercises. She was introduced to the veterans by Tom Callinan, director of Charitable Words.
This summer the veterans will participate in City Silence and, thanks to Charitable Words, NKU student Lindsey Rudd will create short films about the veterans and what silence means to them.
