Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve.

Youth Cartography Fellows Illustrate Ideas of Belonging at The Well.
Thanks to the Mayerson Foundation and the Johnson Foundation, The Well has hired its first cohort of Youth Cartography Fellows. These young people, ages 15 to 23 from across Cincinnati will conduct participatory, social research to better understand what young people need to feel safe and what spaces and places in the pilot neighborhoods Downtown, OTR and Walnut Hills meet these requirements.
The Fellows are Samahra Allen, Helena Anthony, Gabriela Barreto, AJ Domelle, Engler Gonzalez, Victoria Marx and Olivia Tomboli. They will be joined in the summer with six additional Cartographers to create a website, newspaper and "mark" for use by the spaces identified on the map.
Lead Cartography Fellow Engler Gonzalez explains, "This fellowship called out to me because its primary focus is to develop maps that highlight safe spaces for the youth of the Greater Cincinnati Area. As soon as I read about the core values of this fellowship, I knew I had to apply for it. Amongst other facets of identity, I am an openly nonbinary artist living in Cincinnati and I am extremely passionate about the development of larger safe spaces for the Queer Community in this city."
