Mindful Music Moments

Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.

Mindful Poetry Gathering - January 22nd, 2025

A portal to new ideas and new poetry.

Thank you to all who attended our Mindful Poetry Gathering! We listened and contemplated the poem "The Wild Iris" by Louise Glück. Writer and healing practitioner Kim Jennings opened our session with a short body-scanning meditation, inviting us to feel ourselves as a flower, and poet and longtime friend of The Well Elena Estella Green facilitated our exploration of the poem.

PROMPT: Pick something in nature or that has natural qualities — an iris, a tree, a bird, etc. — and imbue it with a human emotion an/or experience (grief, joy, love, anger).
