The Wellness Garden
The Wellness Garden by resident artist Julia O. Bianco needs you. Volunteer, donate, learn with us.
Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve. How do we create our programs? In partnership with others and especially those we serve.

“The books and concepts in the Mindful Embodiment Masterclass were life-changing, each adding a new layer to the bedrock of my understanding. So much so, that proverbial self-inflicted cave I had been living in filled up so much, it compelled me out into the world and into the light."
-Mary Curran Hackett, True Body Alum
Dear Ones:
Since the pandemic began, we have had to shift our True Body Leadership Training from intensive and impactful in-person gatherings to longer, virtual Mindful Embodiment Masterclasses. While we all yearn for the sweetness of circle work and partner and small group movement, touch, and energy connections, our two cohorts have been filled with as much beauty, tenderness, and deep work as can be mustered in a Zoom room.
What is so beautiful about the training is that each cohort is made up of the wisdom of those who show up. Whether they are yoga teachers, writers, social workers or just curious about the mind-body connection, the curriculum molds itself to their interests and ways of engaging the world. We have created this True Body Directory to share and connect the unique wisdom of past participants so that others can find a path or person that might resonate in an important moment.
With Gratitude,
Stacy Sims
Executive Director
