Mindful Music Moments

Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.

Make Your Mark

Make Your Mark

"Make Your Mark" is an interactive art installation designed by Artworks apprentice, Max Rush, that will be displayed for the duration of the America's River Roots Festival on the Purple People Bridge.

Standing 8 ft tall, these 4 pillars are made of paint-sealed quarter inch plywood and plexi-glass with a 2"x4" frame. Paint markers, stickers, and sharpies will be provided to invite the public to "make their mark" on the installation. This work is inspired by Cincinnati's divided history with abolition and integration. It is commentary on the physical and metaphysical barriers in our communities, which compassion and empathy help to dissolve. There are positive and negative foundations that still stand, but we continue to make them our own.
