Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve. How do we create our programs? In partnership with others and especially those we serve.

Oh my gosh.
I kicked off City Silence on June 1, 2015, not knowing if this idea would take root. Since then, I have sat for scores of hours with so, so many lovely humans. We have had more than 40 hosts and gatherings in as many cities ... from Phnom Penh, Cambodia to Harlem, NY. Hundreds of individuals have joined us.
Every morning when I sat with the Washington Park gang, something gorgeous would float in my mind and I would think "I should write about that." The ideas would float away just as easily. This summer I became immersed in BEING with other beings. It seemed to break the spell any time I started to put pen to paper or fingers to computer keys.
Instead, I've given you a slide show of some of our fun. Check out the gallery of images above. Later, I will write more. Or maybe you will write something for me to put here.
