Join The Well in their Walnut Hills space for a free book club. Meet for an approachable dive into a book, discussing a highlighted and provided selection (in case you can't read the entire book) while also learning and exploring somatic practices inspired by the book.

For our fourth session, author author, playwright, publisher, practitioner Brian Shircliff will be presenting Embodied Wisdom. Moshe Feldenkrais's pioneering ideas birthed neuroplasticity-through-movement. Discover how you can adapt any movement you do to make it easier, smoother, higher quality, and pain-free. A book of his transcribed interviews, Embodied Wisdom, will center our conversation, though most of what we'll "do" is experience his awareness-through-movement ideas.

Can your body change positively in a split second?

Brian Shircliff is an author, playwright, publisher, practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method & Bones for Life/Movement Intelligence, and meditator of many styles (yoga, tai chi, vipassana). He taught high school religion for seventeen years and coached two sports to five state championships.
