Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve.
Join us on August 19th for a night of rememberance: dance, words, music, & celebration! Rachel DesRochers, after having lost her mother Mary to Alzheimer's in 2020, presents her offering A Night of Memory & Mystery to honor her mother's life and to allow grief to be a teacher to others. Dancers, writers, poets and musicians are all set to perform, including Gerry Grubbs, who has written a book of poems remembering his life with Mary together, and Pauletta Hansel, who has written about her dementia journey with her mother. Following the performance, stay for light bites & drinks. This event is also set to benefit the Giving Voice Foundation, a grassroots organization committed to providing local programming and support services for individuals living with a form of dementia and their caregivers.
This event will be on Saturday, August 19th from 6:30-9:00pm, tickets required. Click here for more details about the event and to buy tickets.
