Youth Cartography Fellows: Paid Opportunity

The Well understands that feeling safe is complicated and finding places, spaces and people to help young people find their way in the world is critical to wellbeing.

Thanks to The Mayerson Foundation and The Johnson Foundation, The Well seeks to hire 6 Youth Fellows Ages 15-21 for a six-month, part-time fellowship to understand safety from an internal and external perspective and to map spaces and places in Walnut Hills, OTR and Downtown for a new youth-created website, newspaper and "mark."

Preference will be given to those who reside in or spend time in these neighborhoods.

Fellows need to be available 10-15 hours a week for a six month period between March 16 and September. The hours can change week-to-week and can be a combo of after school, weekends and a few early evenings. We will map out our schedules together to assure that the cohort has time to meet and learn and there is also time for individual work.

$15 per hour, with transportation subsidies if needed.

Please send an email to Stacy Sims if interested. Please include the following:

  • age
  • address (home and/or school)
  • why you are interested in this fellowship
  • best way to contact you
  • any prior work experience or school/clubs or projects that might be useful for us to know
  • resume if you have one
