One of our longest running events! Appreciate some silence and some quiet conversation and a labyrinth walk with Rudy and friends.
Rudy Siegel is the founder of Woods Walking and a trustee of beautiful Ault Park. He says:
"Do you find it difficult to quiet your thoughts, to get to that deep silent presence? Meditation comes in many different flavors; as many as there are practitioners. For me, walking meditation is the most natural approach to quiet mind. My ‘practice’ is contained in one simple sentence from my blog Woods Walking #1, “…after giving thought to the events of the day, I let the quiet of the woods take over.” Letting the quiet take over is my surrender of self: from a definer and delineator to a listener and receiver. My quiet mind is just here, just now, present in the moment, drinking in what is around me — as it is, observing without judgment. I drink in that energy with eyes, ears, taste, scent and touch, summarized in an intuitive, expanding presence. Join me; let's find your quiet and explore your presence. ~ Rudy"
