Imagine an entire school – students, teachers, and administrators – taking time each morning to turn inward together, and listen to a brief mindfulness prompt and world-class music.
The Well's programs combine best practices in arts and wellness and are designed in partnership with those they serve. How do we create our programs? In partnership with others and especially those we serve.

Body-centered movement and somatic practices for all
Based on wisdom of The Well's first program, True Body Project, Soma Sundays involves movement, postural and body-first practices out of multiple traditions, but with particular emphasis on what the field now calls "Somatic" practices ... the way that you and only you have a direct and powerful relationship to the sensations of being human in YOUR body.
Every Sunday, a new practitioner will lead somatic exercises to encourage mind-body connection in order to help you survey your internal self and listen to signals from your body on pain, discomfort, or imbalance in order to allow for rebalancing and ease. Our bodies are so wise so this class will allow our somas time to reset while we peacefully observe the process and sensations of wellness.
We're looking forward to moving, breathing, and connecting with you soon.
This Sunday...
Stacy will lead a generous, joyous, collaborative environment for you to discover in both mind, body and practice your own vocabulary for embodiment and your unique path to liberation.

About the Practitioner
The Well's Founder Stacy Sims considers movement as one of the essential practices for liberating and reconnecting with one's best self. Her first movement modality was Pilates, which she started within a week of her sobriety, nearly three decades ago. She founded Pendleton Pilates in 2001, developing its Teacher Training program and studio system which featured four studios when she sold it in 2010. She has studied Reiki, yoga, dance and mindfulness/meditation practices in the U.S. and abroad. She is recognized as an expert in somatic perceiving and embodiment and often consults with clinicians to support them as they integrate embodiment into their practice.
We'd Love to Hear from You
Many of our programs and practices started because someone reached out and expressed a need. What can we do to support you?
